Our History

Westcon was incorporated on 3 August 1984 as a Class A contractor specializing in the installation of concrete and clay brick pavers throughout Virginia and North Carolina. Initially Westcon was the only contractor within Hampton Roads for professionally installing concrete pavers. Very Quickly Westcon installers become well-renowned for their high levels of quality, technical competency, dependability and reliability. This significantly increased demands for their services as well as requests for their advice on paver designs and specifications.

Since 1984, Westcon has been an instrumental leader in helping transform many urban and downtown areas as well as campus communities into well-landscaped, beautiful oasis areas. Throughout the 1980’s and 1990’s (and even today), Westcon has been in the forefront of developing technical designs and specifications, plus educating designers, engineers as well as the everyday novice on proper applications of paver technology. Westcon has even been extensively involved with expanding applications of pavers to meet the growing importance of environmental compliance and stewardship, to include erosion control and proper storm management.

Weston remains one of the few woman-owned companies dedicated to installation of concrete and clay brick pavers. We are consistently sought out by clients who want the project done right, on time, and in budget. Clients especially seek out Westcon when they have complex and artistic designs to be built and installed.
